MICHAEL “POOCH” PUCCINI DEBUTS AS HEADLINER
OCTOBER 16th IN WESTERN COLORADO
Hollywood Comedian’s First Professional Headlining Show Followed by
Performance
at Second New Mexico Casino Show in as Many Months
(Denver, CO,
October 5, 2009) – Every great professional stand-up comedian eventually has to make the jump
from being a “Feature” act to a “Headliner” act. The
rising, Italian-Irish, California-born and -bred comedic entertainer Michael “Pooch”
Puccini is proud to announce today that after a year of Feature work in the
Rocky Mountain region, he has acquired a booking to perform as a Headliner for
the first time in his blossoming comedy career.
“This is such a great thrill for me and one of the goals
I’ve had since moving out here from Hollywood,”
said Pooch. “I have been working hard at my craft for a
long time and am thankful to now be a Headliner. This is the end of one journey and the
beginning of another.”
The distinctive,
highly energetic and positive comedian will
be the Headliner at Hoolie’s Place in Delta, CO, on Friday, October 16, 2009, as
part of a co-headlining tour with Colorado’s
top veteran Latino comedian Jimmy Abeyta. Then on Saturday night, October 17, Pooch will Feature for Abeyta at the SunRay
Park and Casino in Farmington, NM.
“Oh man, I love watching Pooch
perform because he’s got all the skills, a great attitude and it’s a pleasure
to have him co-headline this tour with me,” said Jimmy
Abeyta. “I figured I
better work with this guy as much as I can while I still have the opportunity
before he hits that next level as a major national headliner. After that happens, who knows if he’ll ever return
my calls.”
Hoolie’s Place is located at 220 Main Street, Delta, CO 81416. The show begins at 9:00 p.m. with an
admission of $10; for reservations, call 970.874.7060. On Saturday, the casino show doors open at
