“Pooch” Puccini as he proudly
announced today that he will be the Headliner in the Old Chicago Comedy Room on
Wednesday, June 2.
Located in the highly popular
Downtown Denver Larimer
Square district, The Comedy Room is adjacent to the
Old Chicago Restaurant and Sports Bar, 1415 Market Street (at the corner of
14th and Market), Denver, CO.
The show starts at 8:30 p.m., there is no cover charge and the event is
for those 21 and older.
“I had
a great time when I previously performed as a special drop-in guest at the
Comedy Night in the Old Chicago Comedy Room for Jesse
Carter and Agitated Productions,” said Pooch. “So it’s
a pleasure to be headlining the venue because Jesse runs an outstanding show
there, and the city of Denver is noticing by the constant increase in
attendance.”
Old
Chicago excels
in both their food and drink offerings.
They offer more than 100 selections of beer, including 40 on tap. The
establishment is well-known for its exceptional food menu, including their
signature Chicago-style pizzas. In
addition to an entertaining slate of comedians, the Comedy Night at Old Chicago

originally from San Jose,
California, Michael
“Pooch” Puccini is one of the most
entertaining talents working today’s comedy scene. His distinct, positive show
includes a combination of original California culture-based material, audience
participation, song-and-dance, and props. In 2007, he was selected as a
participant in the 32nd Annual San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy
Competition, and won the Comedy Talent category of Lil’Wayne’s “Making the
Next Hit” Talent Search in Hollywood, CA. In
2008, Pooch was cast in multiple
roles and performed voice-overs in the independent film Dirty Jokes: The Movie. After years of being a mainstay on the
Southern California comedy scene, the unique and eccentric entertainer relocated
to Denver, CO, in the Fall of 2008 to tour the region and
further his professional comedy aspirations.
