Unique, High-Energy Comedian Leaves California Home to Take Crowd-Pleasing Show
Nationwide; Scheduled to Tour Montana, Wyoming, Idaho
(Denver, CO, February 1, 2009) -- Six months ago the
California-born and –bred comedic entertainer named Pooch (a/k/a Michael Puccini) made the bold move to leave the
safe show business confines of Hollywood and take his Gangster Comedy show on
the road.
Upon relocating to Denver, Pooch has achieved a high-level of success in the Rocky Mountain
comedy scene. The most recent accomplishment being the performance tour booking as the feature-act for Justin Tyme, February 9 - 15, through the
great states of Montana, Idaho
and Wyoming.
In addition to his outstanding performances at Colorado’s renown comedy club, the Comedy Works, Pooch has been asked to travel as a feature-act with Denver’s top Latino comedian, Jimmy Abeyta.
He’s also been tapped to compete in comedy competitions statewide, including the upcoming Comedy Works’ Fifth Annual Funny Final Four competition (Feb. 16 - April 7).
Pooch also recently completed his first
consumer-market DVD: Pooch’s First Gangster
Comedy DVD – Bootleg Style. The DVD will soon be available on his website – www.poochcomedy.com.
“It’s funny that I left Hollywood to become more successful as a
comedian…but hey, this is stand-up comedy and the rules are different,” Pooch
said. “I’m honored to be able to share my craftwork with the people in the Rocky Mountain
region. Although grateful for my
successes here, I’m aware that this is but another step in my life’s journey as
an artist.”
In 2009, Pooch will be re-launching his website as a
more wide-ranging comedy destination. The
website will still serve as a professional marketing tool, including clips from Pooch shows, but the online destination will also serve as a place for comedy fans to visit for all types of comedy information and features.
