POOCH TO PERFORM FOR FIRST TIME AT ICONIC HOLLYWOOD IMPROV COMEDY CLUB

(HOLLYWOOD, November 28, 2007)  The rising Italian-Irish, Northern California-born and -bred comedic entertainer known by comedy fans worldwide as Pooch proudly announced today that he will be performing for the first time at the iconic, world-renown, beautiful comedy club the Hollywood Improv.  Pooch's Hollywood Improv debut appearance will take place on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, as part of stand-up comedy show producer Tim Mars' popular Valley Nights show.  The show begins at 10 p.m.

"What a year this is turning out to be for me professionally (hey, that rhymes!) -- first I get accepted into the San Francisco Comedy Competition and then I get asked to perform at the legendary Hollywood Improv," said Pooch.  "It's an absolute honor and thrill to be performing at the Improv and to be on the roster of one of Tim Mars' Valley Nights shows.

"Although I draw upon many years of honing my craft and material in each performance, my current show is barely over a year old.  But with its inclusion of props, audience participation and song-and-dance, my West Coast California Gangster Comedy show is perfect for the Improv.  Perhaps that is why I've never actually set foot on that stage before.  Timing is everything in comedy and you only get one chance to make a first impression.  I'm sure  I'll make the most of mine."

Pooch is a featured act on the roster -- performing in the middle of the show -- which also includes headliner Bret Ernst and Pooch's native-California comedian pal Darren Carter.  The Hollywood Improv is located at 8162 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA.  The Hollywood Improv is available for dinner prior to the show.  There is a two-drink minimum in the showroom.  Admission price information can be obtained by calling the Hollywood Improv box office at 323.651.2583.  Reservations are strongly encouraged.
