This next one is in promotion of my participation in the legendary San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition; it was fun to create because I kept the layout simple and I used the fewest amount of colors in many years. This next one can be confusing because it has the same layout as the previous one and is promoting a club with nearly the same name as the previous flyer. My best friend Jamal (a/k/a Young Mystro) hooked me up with an audition at a talent show being backed by rapper Lil' Wayne. I threw down some clean, Gangster shiznit and ended up winning the comedy portion of this competition. It confirmed my belief that my comedy show has no colorlines. This next one promoted a show at The Comedy Store where I received a great demo tape. I'm still trying to break into The Comedy Store. I've been performing there off-and-on for more than 10 years. I love The Store, but I don't go there as often as I need to because the parking situation on the Sunset Strip is so frustrating . This next one, promoting a showcase at The World Famous Laugh Factory, came out kind of fuzzy. I don't know why...I probably tried to be too Gangster with the special effects. There are more flyers, including those I used to make by hand before I even had a computer, but I am going to stop with this next one until I have time to add more. I'll put the oldest flyer I currently have in my system. Copyright (c) 2007 Michael Puccini. All rights reserved. Copyright (c) 2007 Michael Puccini. All rights reserved. |
